I write the greatest memory

Carefully done with modesty

Every poet’s favorite character

You are the poetry

You could be good in a tapestry

Woven into a beautiful design and picture

But you wouldn’t be in a travesty

In chaos of words, there would still be order

You are the poetry

There’s gentleness and tranquility

In the raging seas, it wouldn’t matter

I wouldn’t change you to thee

For I would be a different Shakespeare
