Anything But Ordinary

Sharing with you these photos my sister shot last week. I love how I ended up dressing like this kind of outfit. It's not something you would mix and match on the very first sight of these items on your closet. But sometimes you have to step out of your comfort zone. Stop being a playing safe at times (sounds like I'm pointing into something). It's safe to say if you could try different things. When you try unique ones, you'll be remembered for it.

My bottoms here isn't actually a skirt. It's a tube dress I borrowed from my classmate. I would never intend to wear a tube dress here and anywhere. It's not my typical outfit. This dress has ribbons in it so I used them to tie it up and secure it with a knot on the side. I don't know but I just love how I did it. I've had six attempts on styling it and I'm proud of how it became in the end.

I love how flowy the skirt is. I would really buy an a-line skirt one of these days.

I told my sister to capture me while I'm looking at the time but she clicked the shutter right away and I was like "Why didn't you wait for my signal?!" Hahaha.

UniGames and the Irony

Last November 22, our University held the annual University Games. Since, it was our first time to actually witness it, my friends and I decided to wear something formal. Not too formal but let's say formal but on a lesser state. Ironic, isn't it? A formal attire on a sports event? That's a big Fashion No-No. Yes, I know! But to think it's a great challenge for me not to look definitely formal on that day since we have to stay under the scorching heat of the sun (and I really sweat a lot) just to watch and support our College's representatives.

Good thing I wore the most comfortable top I could ever own! If dealing with such a warm weather, ease up all those cranky and sweaty days by wearing a loose top. Talk about, built-in air condition and comfy feeling even under the hot sun. Not only you could feel comfortable, it gives you freely the chance to move around without a tight feeling. That's why I'm becoming less persistent in purchasing secured and tight clothes because having a bipolar kind of weather here in the Philippines tends you to do so. I'm changing my kind of clothes....for now.

Photos taken at the Mariano Marcos State University Lagoon. We were so exhausted to walk around the campus trying to find some shade and have a good view of the playing field. So we stopped by at the Lagoon then played around with my digi-cam. And I have to confess here that it was first time to bring along my Nikon CoolPix Digi-Cam and used it in public! Haha. Sometimes, I can't carry around my bulky DSLR on our school just to get a good shot of my outfit. Sometimes, Digi-Cams can do wonders. Photos here are captured by my handy and trusted Nikon CoolPix.

I'm thanking Mr. Christian Coloma for taking time to shot my outfit. Haha. He was shocked after learning I have a blog then we started discussing about fashion blogging and doing OOTDs. Haha. He was willing to take my photos. Such a kind gesture.
