Historic Places. More Fun in Ilocos

This new DOT slogan "It's More Fun in the Philippines" had been trending in Twitter for so long. It's not only new, but  very catchy. Here are the reason why Ilocos is a must-see place.
 Father Burgos
 Monument on their plaza
 Historic Church

 The Most Blessed Virgin Mary

I was captivated with this statue. This is so classic.

Plus, their church altar would blown you away.

 Papa Jesus

 Virgin of Manaoag (I guess)
It's pretty amazing that their altar is adorned of angel figures

My favorite Saint, St. Therese of the Child Jesus. I was named in honor of her. If you haven't read her story, it's time for you to read and be inspired.
St. John Vianney. Saint of all the Priests.
This is a stocked knowledge. Thanks to the private school I entered in my elementary years.
This is where the most Blessed Sacrament is kept. If you are compelled to go inside, make sure you won't make enough noise. Some old folks would visit this room for prayers. (It is air-conditioned, too)

This reminds me of a Church in France. A painting of Michaelangelo on the ceiling (Not here)

Dress + Skirt

Dressing up is always my favorite sport! I would discover some clothes that I could mix and match with the other. Whenever I shop, I see to it I buy a comfortable attire that I could combine with my old clothes.

You may have seen this dress before but I gave this a new look on a more girly way.  I added n "oomph" by injecting a skirt underneath and a trusted sneaker.

I just love how it makes me feel comfortable over a breezy weather. It's flowy and I love how it fits me when I turn around.

Belts are commonly used to emphasize our slim hips. Gear up your attire with a slip-on belts. They are a must!
I have no idea how this get-up popped out of my mind instantly.
Underneath my dress is a skirt. Woah. This is also a fashion trend nowadays.

To neutralize my uber-girly attire, I tried to wear my sneakers courtesy of Nike. Yay!

@ohohmario I hope he'll notice me someday.
When Mario Maurer visited our town Ilocos for their movie Suddenly It's Magic with Erich Gonzales, i was so excited that I can't wait to see him! When I first saw him, I instantly let out a big scream that drove others to look at me so WEIRDLY. Haha
Nearly crying because we are not permitted to take a picture with Mario :'(((

I'm a Candy Girl, too. Yay! Someday, I'm going to work there!

Okay, so much for that. There's more to life than fashion. Don't be a victim of fashion. You don't have to elevate your social status so that you can blend in with elite people. Please. Don't be. BE YOURSELF. You're Unique in your own way.

I Watched Superman Fly Away

I thought it was going to rain at Vigan City, Ilocos Sur as soon as we arrived. The sky casts dark clouds but that didn't stop our trip. But then, Mister Sunshine finally whipped away all the gloomy clouds and we're off for a roadtrip.

That day, I wore my Superman shirt my sister gave me. And guess what, I'm a big fan of Superman. I wore my trusted jeans and belt and my very own doll shoes.

I'm an Ilocana and that was not the first time I went to Vigan with my Family. I got to picture Father Burgos, a member of the famous GOMBURZA known for their nationalism during the Spanish Era.
I was talking that time and scolding my sister.
 McDonald Summer Floats.
 Trying to show-off my shoes.
I forgot to show my bag. Aww.
 Model-y thing.
Because of the extreme heat, I was compelled to updo my hair.
During our visit at the Museum. Very timeless.

There you have it. Feast your eyes for more.
