Yellow: A Sure Color Booster

The title gives it all. The last thing I learned about the color Yellow is that it symbolizes Jealousy. From then on, I never let myself buy things with a patch of yellow. But my intuitions changed after seeing these photos. The color yellow made my complexion stand out. HAHA. Feeler. But really, thanks to the yellow background and the top my classmate lent me. Now I know what color of clothing I should purchase the next time I shop. :)

Do it in a Filipino way. :)

Me likey this!

Take Me to my Office

Ever since I was a kid, I've always wanted to have my own office someday. I'm fascinated with people who have jobs and work on their own office. I admit, I'm desperate to find a job after schooling. Find a company where they hire travel writers. Probably, Magazine companies. Adventure and Writing are my two great passions. I can't live without these. I breathe and live them, as a matter of fact.

This look epitomizes a semi-business attire. I don't own a pencil skirt, but it looks like I'm wearing a pencil-cut skirt, right? The trick is, I raid into my closet and found a tight-fitting dress that could easily pulled down. And viola, there you have it, a pseudo pencil-skirt. :) HAHA

I love wearing accessories. I feel naked without them, actually. These are the things you can magically inject to an outfit.
The key piece here is my Sapphire ring. I bought this from Broadway Gems. I couldn't resist the urge to buy it the first time I laid my eyes upon it.
I did a quirky statement here. You may notice the violet lace matches the skirt. Actually, it's a ribbon tied on the dress.

 The complete accessories I wore.
Wedge from Chrisia. I borrowed it from my Grandmother. :)

My treasured bracelet from Candy . I'm a self-confessed Candy Girl :)

Just Belt On It

Peplum skirt has been a major trend in the fashion scene for the past few weeks. Since I don't own one, a bright idea flashed before me awhile back. A blogger named Danika Navarro  taught me how to mix and match style with the things you have in your closet. The secret to having a peplum-like skirt is to "belt on it". :)

I have to do self-cam here since my sister was nowhere to be found that time. Pardon the background. :)
This was taken right after I got home from a competition in Extemporaneous Speaking.
Pardon again. Sorry for the poor background.
 HAHAHAHAHAHA
A closer look on the outcome.

Animal over Florals

Who would have thought that animal print can go well with florals? I took inspiration from Camille Co's style I found on her site. I tried to mix animal print on flowery print in a girly way.

 I so love the bag!

Detachable collars never go out of style.

Extempo

I competed for an Extemporaneous Speaking in our school in the annual celebration of our Filipino Language. The annual event aims to give importance and trace us back to the origin of the language. It's also a means to give praises to the forefathers who fought for our right and deeply appreciated the language and the country.

It's a mix emotion for me, of course. Happy, because I have yet to compete again for an impromptu speaking which I really miss back when I was still in High School. Sad and Devastated because I wasn't able to finish my speech which required a 5-minute delivery. I failed and didn't give a proper credit to my coach who seriously prepared and honed me in Filipino before the said contest. But then, after walking out from the spotlight, he gave me a tight hug and comforting words backstage.

Thanks to Sid Madamba, Sir Mark Fernandez and Ma'am Luvee Aquino, for the hugs and encouraging words :)

So, here's my look after the contest. My make up's worn out.

I wish I could be this visually tall in person!

Damsel in Distress

This was taken during our break for our music-video making back in High School. I find this shot very gloomy since I was the one captured on that photo. I can't consider myself as someone who takes problems seriously. But hey, I'm not writing a suicidal note here. HAHA. Please don't be fooled. :)

My First Prom

Since I can't think of anything to post this time, I targeted another backlog and that's my first attendance to JS Promenade. I know it's been two years since then, but whenever I think of it, it still sends me the happiness I felt during that night. Not only did I dance with some boys in our room, but I fully enjoyed the music I shared with them on the dance floor. HAHA. sounds cheesy.

It was first announced that our main theme would be "Angels and Demons". But then, our principal protested on the theme, so the organizers have to come up with another option, and that was "Fairytales". Anything that are part of the imaginary world of fairies, princesses.

Hello, Ysa. So we rocked the stage with our couture-made dresses. HAHA. (Feeler)

Hello, Jayven! My first dance!

I'm loving this picture of me and Champ. This is forever treasured.

And this is what I love the most and the main highlight of the night. I got the chance to picture with my English teacher in Sophomore year. Hello, Sir Benj!

with our student teacher in English III.

Loving the rebonded hair of Kristine.

And that's the way we do it in smoke.

Here's to a happy group of friends.

Photobooths made the night a blast. :))
